Summer Bull

Summer below the tundra in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park draws bull elk to lush green mountainside areas to graze and lounge. This impressive bull was scratching an itch with the velvet tip of an antler while I photographed the bachelor group from a safe distance.
