Tips for a Great Session

A successful session begins with appropriate, comfortable attire. Your clothing selections should reflect your personality but also fit properly. Avoid wild colors that will be distracting in a portrait. Remember, your senior portraits last a lifetime, while a lot of fashion trends a just temporary fads.

Hair and make-up should be as natural and neutral as possible. If you intend to get a haircut prior to shooting, it’s best to do so at least seven to 10 days in advance.

Gentlemen should consider being clean shaven for their session.

Wearing eye glasses can result in unwanted glare on the lenses from studio lights and flashes. Consider not wearing glasses or asking your optician for a pair of empty frames you can borrow for your session.

We'll appreciate you refraining from using your cell phone during your portrait session.
