So just what is new? Well, everything!
For those of you who were customers back when I was doing senior, family, and team portraits, along with sports action photography, you probably had no idea that my roots are in nature and the great outdoors. Well, today is the day that I make that clear to everyone who visits my completely made over website.
No more portraits. All you’ll see are outdoors images that I compiled over many years, along with some more recent ones. I’m very excited to share those with the world.
The journey to this day began a few months ago as I conceptualized what my site would look like. Input from a trusted friend got me headed in the right direction. I created the basic design of the site but hit a wall with the design tools I was using. It was time to find a developer who could get me over the hump, and get all of the ecommerce pieces in place.
Enter Doug LaMar, owner of Sensible Websites in Omaha. He was a tremendous partner in this effort and graciously responded to all of my whims during the design phase, along with a constant stream of emails with tweaks I wanted him to consider and make.
A group of family members and friends also chipped in as site reviewers to help make sure the site was easy to navigate and the content was solid. They pointed out typos, suggested tweaks, and provided honest feedback about the site. Many thanks to all of them.
The site will likely get some additional tweaks over the next couple of weeks based on some of the feedback I received. Some will be more noticeable than others. And I’ll be adding some additional images to the galleries as well.
I hope you’ll stop back once in a while to see what’s new and keep track of what I’m up to in the outdoors.
